Start to End

Looking back through all my posts from beginning to end I was shocked at what I discovered.  The main thing I noticed in each of my blog posts is how much I've developed as a writer and how in my writings it seems i've developed a confidence and identity I did not have before in the begin of this term.  Which shocks me because before I thought my writing was stern, but after reading now and then I am much more colorful in my writing and I have confidence in my writing that I did not see before.  Sadly this may be one of the last blog posts I have for awhile, until then!

My Critical Thinking and Essay Writing

Again I feel that this course has strengthen both my critical thinking an essay writing!! I say this because concepts of both were clarified and I was able to understand them so much better than I was before this course.  For example my critical thinking has improved dramatically, it almost shocks me.. before it was hard for me to summarize main arguments and even to pick them out but now im like a wizard! I can spot an argument in record times and summarize it very well.  My essay writing has also stepped up as well, mainly because of the peer editing and writing conferences I had other students helping me out.  The area im most improved was probably inserting bibliographic citations, before I was unsure of what to do now the cob webs are gone and Im doing swell!

Close Reading

In close readings and research I feel that I have grown dramatically as a student and as an intellectual in both categories.  Coming into this class I could never locate key points in close readings as I would have liked to but since entering this class I have understood the concept of picking out key points much much better! As the material got harder and easier I felt that both ways it got easier to pick out key points, when readings were simple and easy it was like stealing candy from a baby!:D Although when readings got harder I still felt that it was easy to dig out key points.  When it comes to research I know that before I came into UWT I had no clue about the online library website, after everything that I have learned I have came to a conclusion that the UWT online library might be the best invention EVER!!! lol
